This guy obviously knows his Joy Division. His comment will go down in Choker History as one of my all-time favorites. The part about Substance and Permanent just about had me rolling on the floor.

| Interzone Puke-Cover |
[Jan. 13th, 2007|11:51 pm] |
This is what Jackie calls a "Puke Session" because neither of us could think of anything funny that rhymed with "Peel." (If you don't know what that means, fine, but you should probably read more.) We'd sit down together, name a song at random, and try to play a few bars into the recorder without consideration for much of anything except that we didn't tip over any booze; the drum machine shuts down (by foot) three beats after I nod to her. The result sounds backwards, since it doesn't sound "live" and distorted like our "real" "live" stuff but is, in a way.
This is ancient, from the dark days when alcohol, not each other, reciprocated each of our affections. Wow, whatever.
I like Joy Division enough that if someone belched into a tape recorded and said it was Interzone, I'd listen to it 1,000 times. Don't bother downloading this unless you feel the same way.

| Joy Division's Wilderness Live-Cover |
[Oct. 22nd, 2006|11:58 pm] |
More crap we're finding on our old hard drive that's cool to us because it brings back memories but may bore you to tears. This is Jackie's (bass) and my (I suck) live version of Joy Division's "Wilderness," preceded by a section of our studio version, which I popped in just to give a little idea of what it's supposed to sound like when the people playing aren't morons high on whatever and when our stupid sister Katey-Kate (drum machine programming) doesn't leave her cell phone right next to one of the microphones.
Beautiful artwork "Jakups Fiddles While Jacquelyn's Anger Burns Because He Is A Fucking Dumbass" courtesy of Jackie's Sweetness. :0P
Please note that it's just a coincidence that earlier someone else posted something about burning in her own journal. Yes, Jackie, in a journal that is very sweet. :0P There's a picture in my journal from months ago about the song "Wilderness" that also features artwannabe (that time choker-artwannabe) involving Rome on fire.

| Audacity Is Tits, Bitches |
[Oct. 21st, 2006|08:53 pm] |
Anyway you homeslice it, Audacity is a howlingly tits application, but it just happens to be free, which makes it even better. In case you're not good at math.
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/about/
Like, say, if you and your stupid wench (who plays bass) have a cover of a Joy Division song, a cover that doesn't sound too bad except for certain shitty elements, you can seamlessly snip out said shitty elements and no one will know. Unless the song ends up being two minutes long and obviously edited, i.e., sounding like something you'd hear in a Walmart ... i.e., sounding like this one clearly does. But what the fuck.
(Actually, the "splices" you can hear are fuck-ups from the original "session," if you will, and have "fuck all" to do with Audacity....)
Fookin' BARABBAS!!
Note how I spelled the title of the song below, which would normally be spelled s-h-a-d-o-w-p-l-a-y. I'm so clever and deep, not to mention SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS sizzlin' in the brain. Put your finger in my nose and it will catch Biblical booger-fire.
Note that my whore and I are no longer fighting, and I'm in a much better mood. Even sans the pie.

| Tacky Tribute To A Fellow Genius |
[May. 18th, 2006|02:02 pm] |
I'm joking, of course. About this being tacky.
Paying tribute to a fallen post-punk hero is something only a tourist cunt would do, so I will not pay tribute but make this post about Mt. St. Helens and the 57 people who lost their lives when it erupted on 18 May 1980. This would be tacky as well, but not for me, because I don't care about those people and frankly they're lucky as far as I'm concerned because they're dead.
